A girl’s fantasy trip with her better half

A girl’s dream is to live her dream life with her better half…
Being single, a girl may save all her love and affection for her better half in future….
To get a transition from a studious girl to romantic girl is not so easy…
But this may be made possible when she is in complete love with her better half….
A girl might have thousands of dreams to be done with her life partner…
I too have one such dream…
I wish to go to a place where there is a small wooden house near a water body in a forest surrounded by mountains…..
To reach such a place, there needs a journey which could be of either by carts for some distance followed by a walk…

There should be moderate cool temperature and a stay for a night, followed by a day….
Things found to eat could be of all fresh fruits and vegetables found in the forest.
There will be just a set of candles providing us the required lighting….
We will be cherishing the natural sounds of birds and animals in the forest left undisturbed from any other communication media…
This place will provide us a deep silence and pleasant atmosphere to share about each other…
There will be lots of chances to understand each other….
I also like to have a trekking with my better half in that lonely forest………
To feel protected with him and do an adventurous walk is a dream come true day for me…
We will try to explore places by holding hands together there where there is no sign of humans….
There will be chance of seeing lots of species unseen to our eyes until that day…
It will be lovely to roam around as a couple and watch many birds and animals…
It might be little scary too…!!!
This action movement will show out the care tat each one have for the other……….
There will be lots of opportunities available for us to become friends, which are necessary to maintain a long term relationship…..
We will be talking a lot sitting together and plan what are the things to be done from now to years to come…
It will be so excited to sit and talk together as a couple about our future life…
It will give me a immense strength and enough happiness that we are going to manage things together supporting each other…
A night stay at forest  should be stunning experience for sure which could also be fearful to some extent….
The calm and cool beauty of nature with no humans around makes us feel to be in a different planet with my better half….
The prolonged sleepless night with a deep conversation with each other makes us grasp each other’s attitude, thoughts and their own way of intercepting things.
As the birds sing with astonishing moment of sun striking the mountains peak, the night will end…. but the memories we made together do not.
It gives us a immense pleasure and a enjoyable experience with lot more of confidence to lead our life together for many more years  to go….!!!!

I wish to Return with amazing & remarkable memories…!!!

Delay the Judgement

A lovely little girl was holding two apples with both hands.
Her mum came in and softly asked her little daughter with a smile: “my sweetie, could you give your mum one of your two apples?”
The girl looked up at her mum for some seconds, then she suddenly took a quick bite on one apple, and then quickly on the other.
The mum felt the smile on her face freeze. She tried hard not to reveal her disappointment.
Then the little girl handed one of her bitten apples to her mum, and said: mummy, here you are. This is the sweeter one.

No matter who you are, how experienced you are, and how knowledgeable you think you are, always delay judgement. Give others the privilege to explain themselves. What you see may not be the reality.

Being Together With Friends Is a Gift

I am in my mid-twenties now. I lived in Chennai for 3+ years with awesome friends, one by one moved away to either new city or gone to live alone after their wedding. In the process I got a chance to move to Bangalore in the hope of progressing my career. I get to live alone in Bangalore. I experience a type of pleasure when living alone in a different city. It is altogether a different experience. You seem to enjoy a type of freedom when living alone. After living in Bangalore alone for 3+ months, I planned a trip for 3 days with friends to Munnar – A hill station in Kerala, south India.

Its group of 5 friends planned to go on a trip for 3 days. I was excited because I am going to go on a trip to an unknown place, & to stay on the place and experience the unknown.

The excitement started immediately we met to board the train, all of us are super exited for the trip. I had never made such a long trip ever before in my life. So this is a new experience for me and for each and every one of my friends. I know in a few months everyone will either get married or move to different city and hence to make a trip like this will be impossible in future.

We reached Cochin, Kerala. A place where there are more numerous lakes & back waters flowing in between the city. There are ferry & Jetty transports system to move to nearby places. We actually travelled on one such ferry to Fort Kochi, a place of cultural importance where Vascodagama first reached INDIA from South Africa. The place is full of cultural importance with lot of age old churches,

Next we boarded bus to Munnar, a hill station. It’s a 6 hour journey on the hill. The journey itself is awesome. We reached there at midnight and still found a suitable accommodation. We 5 people slept in a single room with a single blanket on that cold climate. The next 2 days were completely spent on seeing fantabulous landscapes, dams, reservoirs, forests, national parks, falls that are spread throughout the hills. I might say Munnar is a place where every journey is more beautiful than the destination. Every hill have completely covered with tea plantations.

Now, when I look back about the journey we had together…what I remember is not the places but the joy of being together with friends, the joy of doing something new, travelling to a new place together which stay in memory forever.

I just realize. This life is short, don’t just gather things, and gather experiences with loved ones that is only thing that matters when we get old.

At the end what matters most is not how many project we completed successfully, but the life experiences with the loved ones. So make time at least once in every 4 months to make new life experiences, try new things, that will stay with us long even when everything we gather fade away with time.

The Most Memorable Day That Gave Me Strength & Motivation

All through life I have had numerous huge occasions. The huge times throughout my life fluctuate from being the most noticeably bad times in my life and some being the best, whichever way they have gotten to be breakthroughs that will be recalled until the end of time."

I experienced a lot of things and I have a considerable measure of great memories. Most importantly, the experience that I can't overlook is the particular case that occurred surprisingly and the most vital day, I think.. When my companions and I were thumped by the headmistress when we were in 5th grade. Our week by week tests were over and we were holding up for the outcomes. I was dependably the topper in my class, however I was almost certain that I wouldn't get full checks for my Maths paper and it happened the same. I scored just 99 out of 100. Our class teacher gave, the progress report to get it signed by parents. I was exceptionally sad and terrified to show my mark sheet to my parents. I did a mischief i.e. I put my Dad's signature and gave it to my class teacher. It went on smooth, however after the following month to month exam result was reported and the advancement card given, it turned into a major issue. I took my report card to my Dad, in the wake of erasing the signature  put by me. My Dad caught me in the act and issued me great. At that point he gave two slaps on my face and my face turned red. I apologized and guaranteed that it won't happen in future. He took me to my School Principal and complained. He asked for that I should to be punished before the entire school students.. The following day amid the morning school assembly, myself and my companions who had done likewise error like me, were beaten up by our headmistress.

I was let down and embarrassed about my wrong act, however, our headmistress was good to the point that she prompted us not to commit errors like that and requested that we be merry and concentrate more into books.

At home my Dad and Mom, they clarified me the results that could happen, if one commits such errors in the long run. My Dad presented to me another bicycle and a beautiful doll. (Dolls are my most loved dependably. He additionally gave me some motivational books to peruse. It gave me incredible strength.

Sometimes for the duration of your life, a couple of events happen that transforms into a wonderful memory for you and which reveals to you such lesson that transforms into one of the basic manage of your life. The above said occurrence in my life remains as huge day and it is something which is extraordinary, a sweet and a pleasurable thing to recall, to value for .

Farmer and His Donkey - Motivational Story

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Your Life Changes When You Change...

One day all the employees reached the office and saw a big advice written on the door.

Yesterday the person who has been stopping your growth in this company passed away. You are invited to join the funeral.

In the beginning, they got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they got curious to know who was the man who stopped their growth.

Everyone thought: Well atleast the man who stopped my progress died!

One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside they were speechless. They stood shocked in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a mirror inside the coffin and everyone who looked inside could see himself.

There was a sign next to the mirror that read:
There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth...It is you. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, success and realization.

Your life does not change when your boss friends or company change.....your life changes when you change...you go beyond your limiting beliefs and you realize you are the only one responsible for your life.
Its the way you face life that makes the difference!

Why Am I So Poor? - Buddha

A poor man asked the Buddha,
“Why am I so poor?”
The Buddha said, “you do not learn to give.”
So the poor man said, “If I’m not having anything?”
Buddha said: “You have a few things,
The Face, which can give a smile;
Mouth: you can praise or comfort others;
The Heart: it can open up to others;
Eyes: who can look the other with the eyes of goodness;
Body: which can be used to help others.”
So, actually we are not poor at all, poverty of spirit is the real poverty.""

There was a millionaire who had severe eye pain. He consulted many doctors for his treatment done. He consumed heavy loads of drugs and underwent hundreds of injections.
But the ache persisted.

At last a monk who has supposed to be an expert in treating such patients was called. The monk understood his problem and said that for sometime he should concentrate only on green colours & not to fall his eyes on any other colours.

The millionaire got together a group of painters & purchased barrels of green color & directed that every object his eye was likely to see be painted in green colour.

When the monk came to visit him after few days, the millionaire's servants ran with buckets of green paints and poured on him since he was in red dress.

Hearing this monk laughed said "If only you had purchased a pair of green spectacles, worth just a few rupees, you could have saved these walls and trees and pots and all other articles and also could have saved a large share of his fortune. You cannot paint the world green."

Happiness Is What You Are, Not What You Have...

This story is about a beautiful, expensively dressed lady who complained to her psychiatrist that she felt that her whole life was empty, it had no meaning.

So, the lady went to visit a counselor to seek out happiness.

The counselor called over the old lady who cleaned the office floors.

The counselor then said to the rich lady "I'm going to ask Mary here to tell u how she found happiness. All I want u to do is listen to her."

So the old lady put down her broom and sat on a chair and told her story:

"Well, my husband died of malaria and three months later my only son was killed by a car. I had nobody. I had nothing left. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I never smiled at anyone, I even thought of taking my own life. Then one evening a little kitten followed me home from work. Somehow I felt sorry for that kitten. It was cold outside, so I decided to let the kitten in. I got some milk, and the kitten licked the plate clean. Then it purred and rubbed against my leg and, for the first time in months, I smiled.

Then I stopped to think, if helping a little kitten could make me smile, may be doing something for people could make me happy.

So, the next day I baked some biscuits and took them to a neighbor who was sick in bed.

Every day I tried to do something nice for someone. It made me so happy to see them happy.

Today, I don't know of anybody who sleeps and eats better than I do.
I've found happiness, by giving it to others."

When she heard this, the rich lady cried. She had everything that money could buy, but she had lost the things which money cannot buy.

"The beauty of life does not depend on how happy you are; but on how happy others can be because of you..."

Happiness is not a destination, it's a journey.
Happiness is not tomorrow, it is now.
Happiness is not dependency, it is a decision.
Happiness is what you are, not what you have..

Calmness is Great Weapon To Deal With Problems -- Swami Vivekananda

When Swami Vivekanand was studying law at the University College, London, a white professor, whose last name was Peters, disliked him intensely.

One day, Mr. Peters was having lunch at the dining room when came along with his tray and sat next to the professor. The professor said, "Mr Vivekanand , you do not understand. A pig and a bird do not sit together to eat." Vivekanandji looked at him as a parent would a rude child and calmly replied, "You do not worry professor. I'll fly away," and he went and sat at another table.

Mr. Peters, reddened with rage, decided to take revenge. The next day in Class he posed the following question: "Mr.Vivekanand , if you were walking down the street and found a package, and within was a bag of wisdom and another bag with money, which one would you take ?"
Without hesitating, Vivekanandji responded, "The one with the money, of course."

Mr. Peters , smiling sarcastically said, "I, in your place, would have taken the wisdom."

Swami Vivekanand shrugged and responded, "Each one takes what he doesn't have."

Mr. Peters, by this time was fit to be tied. So great was his anger that he wrote on Swami Vivekanand's exam sheet the word "idiot" and gave it to Swami Vivekanand . Vivekanandji took the exam sheet and sat down at his desk trying very hard to remain calm while he contemplated his next move.

A few minutes later, Swami Vivekanand got up, went to the professor and told him in a dignified polite tone, "Mr. Peters, you signed the sheet, but you did not give me the grade."

My physics teacher told me this in 11th...

When James Watt invented the steam engine (which was a great invention at that time), People around him couldn't believe it and told Aahhh This thing won't start...

Once it started.. They then said.. Ahhh this thing won't stop..

Traditional Management Lesson Vs Modern Management Lesson

One night when the whole world was sleeping, a thief broke into the house of a washer man.

The washer man was fast asleep but the donkey and the dog were awake.
The dog decided not to bark since the master did not take good care of him and wanted to teach him a lesson.

The donkey got worried and said to the dog that if he doesn't bark, the donkey will have to do something himself.

The dog did not change his mind and the donkey started braying loudly.
Hearing the donkey bray, the thief ran away, the master woke up and started beating the donkey for braying in the middle of the night for no reason.
Moral of the story: One must not engage in duties other than his own.
Now take a new look at the same story.

The washer man was like a typical top management corporate guy.
He had the fundas of looking at the bigger picture and thinking out of the box.
He was convinced that there must be some reason for the donkey to bray in the night.

He walked outside a little and did some fact finding, applied a research approach, figured out from the ground realities that there was a thief who broke in and the donkey only wanted to alert him about it.

Looking at the donkey's extra initiative and going beyond the call of the duty, he rewarded him with lot of hay and other perks and the donkey became his favorite pet.

The dog's life didn't change much, except that now the donkey was more motivated in doing the dogs duties as well.

In the Appraisal the dog managed an "8".

The donkey was rated as "9".

Soon the dog realized that the donkey is taking care of his duties and he can enjoy his life sleeping and lazing around.

The donkey had to live up to his already high performance standards.
Soon he was over burdened with work and always under pressure and now is looking for a switch....

Moral of the story-Remains the same- "One must not engage in duties other than his own"

Disclaimer: All characters in the story are not at all imaginary. Any resemblance to person living or dying of work is purely intentional.

THE BOY AND THE APPLE TREE

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. “Come and play with me”, the tree asked the boy. “I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees any more” the boy replied.  “I want toys. I need money to buy them.” “Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.” The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad. One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited. “Come and play with me” the tree said. “I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” “Sorry, but I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad. One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted. “Come and play with me!” the tree said. “I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” said the man. “Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.” So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time. Finally, the man returned after many years. “Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you”, the tree said. “No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite” the man replied.
“No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now” the man said. “I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears. “I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied. “Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest.” The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

This is a story of everyone. The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum and Dad. When we grow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy.

You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents. We take them for granted; we don’t appreciate all they do for us, until it’s too late.

When we walk to the edge of all the light we have
and take the step into the darkness of the unknown;
we must believe that one of two things will happen..
There will be something solid for us to stand on
or we will be taught to fly.

A wise man sat in the audience and cracked a joke.
Everybody laughs like crazy.

After a moment, he cracked the same joke again.
This time, less people laughed.

He cracked the same joke again and again.
When there is no laughter in the crowd,

he smiled and said:
You can't laugh at the same joke again and again,
but why do you keep crying over the same thing
over and over again?

Inspirational Story About Mahatma Gandhiji

A woman once came to Mahatma Gandhiji and asked him to please tell her son to give up eating sugar.

Gandhiji asked the woman to bring the boy back in a week. Exactly one week later the woman returned, and Gandhi said to the boy, "Please give up eating sugar."

The woman thanked the Mahatma, and, as she turned to go, asked him why he had not said those words week ago. Gandhiji replied,

"Because a week ago, I had not given up eating sugar."
